Alexander Lozano is the founder of United Juntos, a nonprofit born from his passion for community, creativity, and connection. As an artist and organizer, Alexander has spent over a decade using art to bring people together—especially in underserved neighborhoods—creating spaces where families, youth, and neighbors can express themselves, access resources, and feel seen. His vision for UnitedJuntos is to turn moments of joy and creativity into long-term impact through public art, free events, and meaningful partnerships.

Who we are

United Juntos is a Dallas-based nonprofit that creates free, art-led events designed to uplift, connect, and empower communities — while linking families to the local resources that help them thrive.

It began as a one-day project funded by the City of Dallas through the ArtsActivate grant — an event I organized as an artist to bring families and neighbors together through hands-on creativity. The response was overwhelming. The Bachman area families showed up, made art, shared stories, and discovered free resources available in their own neighborhoods.

That moment showed me what was possible — and inspired me to turn United Juntos into something lasting.

Today, we collaborate with artists, schools, and community organizations to lead creative projects that double as access points for essential support. From free workshops and art activities to school-supply drives, health and wellness resources, and bilingual information tables — every event is designed to make creativity a bridge to connection and care.

We’re not just creating art. We’re building community.

That’s what it means to rise juntos.

One woman has a pink bag. A young boy seated on a ledge in front is wearing a black T-shirt and navy shorts. The boy standing behind has a balloon tied to their wrist. The background shows bins, a hand truck, and a staircase. Everyone is smiling or looking at the camera.
